Network Before You Shop
Shopping sites will start to use social networking to have shoppers tell each other what to buy. If you go to a shopping site now, like Amazon, you will commonly see comments on item pages from people who have used the product. They tell whether they liked that particular item or not. Soon they will be able to go to forums where they can also suggest other products. Their profiles will mention what kinds of things they recommend and what they don't recommend. Do you think social networking will help shopping sites sell more? Will people use these board constructively and post positive advice or just for flame bad products? |
